Sri Sankarshana Wodeyaru Moola brindhavana
Sri Sankarshana Wodeyaru is the first saint to write commentary on Harikatha amritha saaraa and its the most extensive tika.He had taken avatara specially to write a tika on the Harikathaamritha saaraa. The brindavana of this holy saint is at Polur in Tamilnadu.
My relative&well wisher Sri.N.L.Thirumal Rao(Secretary of Sri Sankarshana Wodeyaru Moola brindhavana seva samithi,Polur) had sent me an appeal which is attached with this post.

Great initiative and very deserving as well. Shri Wodeyar’s commentary opens so many subtle concepts of Shri HKS.
I had a question .. do the DD’s need to be drawn Payable at Polur ?

i visited karapoondi some 4 years back, a mind blowing peaceful sannidhana of sankarshana wodeyaru’ i will try my best to collect and do contribute for this noble cause and will sent the DD to the seva samithi.

I had darshan of this sannidhana almost 20 years ago.
Thanks for sharing the photo and this appeal. I sent an amount of Five Hundred Rupees and promptly got the acknowledgement from the Samithi secretary.

I am the grand son of srinivasa rao of oghur in whose house wodeyaru stayed for a brief period before going to karapoondi . I make it a point to attend the aradhana and seek the blessings of the saint and Anjaneya swamy .

AI am the great grandson of oghur h srinivasa rao who was fortunate to accommodate WODEYARU for a short period. i am trying to secure more information about the saint. devoted worship results in fulfilling our genuine requirement. collective effort to renew the mutt, offer facilities etc. is necessary. While in karapoondi please take care of the PARIJATHA tree which is considered as sthala vruksha planted in 1994.

Lot of renovation work required. Several devotees take part in the task. Under the guidance of sri thirumal rao and sri u p rao and sri v s rajamani , i am sure some improvements wilk take place.

Some of the devotees may like to undertake repair work or renovate or construction work for the choultry considering the need of those. such of those ,if necessary, with the consent of the secretary of the samithi may contribute as per their choice and get the blessings of the holy saint and well wishes of the devotees. While attending the aradhana the necessities may be observed by them. Incidentally it is to be mentioned that year 2012 WILL TAKE PRIDE IN CELEBRATING 150 th ARADHANA. seeking the blessings the WODEYARU

This year the aradhana was celebrated in a grand manner. On all the three days special poojas to vayu devuru were performed. Theertha prasadha was given to devotees on all these days. This year witnessed new devotees. Shri n l thirumal rao briefly told the the life history of sri sri.,sankarshana wodeyaru . He also informed the plan to renovate the choultry. Any improvement lies in the minds of the devotees who will respond and also spread the message to their relatives and others. Seeking the blessings of the holy SAINT.

sir, please tell all Madhwa devotees around you that the choultry has fallenn a week after the 150 th aradhana day-a great miracle!(lot of devotees were sitting under that tiled roof during Aradhana)
